Re: Feka Too bradford?
It would be sad to see him leave but ultimatly he doesn't seem to fit Madge's style of play and team success is far more important.
Is his contract up at the end of the season or are we talking about a move in in this season?

I dont really want Feka to leave, but i will feel better if he takes Fielden with him.
Re: Feka Too bradford?
Yes I appreciate what you are saying about Lynch being too old. However I would rather have an Andy Lynch punching holes through defences than a prop who does not last the pace and is exposed in defence.Yes I also concur that a swap for Nick Scruton would in an ideal world be the favoured option. But could you see Bradford even considering such a proposal? Personally I cannot see this happening.I do admit to being a little sad at the loss of Feka, because I'm sure you will agree that he did make some barn storming runs that got the old pulses racing.Alas these barn storming runs are more infrequent these days.Plus it does seem increasingly likely that he will not be offered another contract at Wigan. We have seen better than Feka, and expect better.

Feka will to as Fielden has been doing Fekas defense for him for 4 years....old hooker wrote:I dont really want Feka to leave, but i will feel better if he takes Fielden with him.
Re: Feka Too bradford?
Wigan have never really known what to do with Feka, he was brought as an impact prop but then was expected to play as a regular prop. When Feka played as an impact prop he was very effective but then he started to put on weight and the Noble "sub-by-the-clock" system never did him any favours.
I think he will do well at Bradford if they have a set role for him. Feka is an impact prop and will never be anything more but at his best he can change games.
If Feka goes I expect Wigan to make a good signing in the forwards. Coley has done well this season, Fielden has improved but not amazing, Prescott gets smashed by every team (especially Saints) and strong breeze knocks him over, O'Carroll is injury prone and players like Massop and Tuson are still young.

would be sad to see him go but like others, can see the reasoning. I don't think he has failed in this 2010 squad more doesn't fit in, an unfortunate circumstance. I am sure he will benefit elsewhere.
Good luck Feka if you leave. Got to say he is one of the most popular players i've seen at Wigan.

Sentiment should play no part in sport. The questions that need to be asked are simple - is Feka good enough for Wigan? Can we replace him with a better player? If the answers are yes and no then he should stay.ancientnloyal wrote:would be sad to see him go but like others, can see the reasoning. If you stand still in our game you go backwards, we will need to improve by 10% in 2011 if we are to be as successful.
Nevertheless, I agree that the big guy is a top bloke and I would wish him well if he moves on.
