If that is the case i am stuffed and extremely P****D O** . My son and me have non refundable travel and hotel reservations for the 13/08/10 .

It's bad enough when Sky stuffs you but when it is closer to home it leaves a bad taste .

If I were you I'd complain direct to the club and request compensation for your travel & accomodation, it may get you nowhere but unless people bring to the clubs attention the problems these short notice alterations cause they'll continue to roll over for the football. If I remember correctly weren't grants given on the basis that it was a shared stadium, at present it looks like there's a majority occupant which just isn't on. Our fixture has been arranged for months yet we're expected to shift it for some football match which means nothing as it's the start of their season.

Just remind me which of Wigan's sports teams is currently top of the table ...

Still no news on the club website and the online ticket sales are still selling tickets for Friday 13/08/10 .

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

What'll really stink is if the Pathetics end up pulling the stunt during the playoffs.

We have flogged our guts out for all of this season to get in a prime spot to get the best advantage in the playoffs and we could end up having to surrender home advantage like we did in the playoff game against Bradford at Widnes.

We're the ones getting the regular good attendances, yet we're the ones having to roll over when the Primadonna League and Mr Whelan click their fingers.

Will we get a reverse fixture from the Pathetics if we do well with the playoffs... by that deafening silence, I assume not. According to the Pathetics fixture list, we could conceivably lose home advantage two rounds on the bounce or have our games moved due to them playing Sunderland and Manchester City at home.

Our fixture list has been in the public domain since late last year!!! There is no reason whatsoever that Whelan should be playing the "I didn't know" card - he should have discussed it with the Primadonna League and asked for a change round in the schedule as soon as the computer selected the fixtures.

Sooner they get relegated, the better!!!

I have always wanted to like Wigan's football team but I find it very difficult due to their arrogance.
