Re: Grand final - thoughts/favourite moments
After the win, one of my favourite moments was when Stu Fielden was showing off the trophy to the Wigan fans in the East Stand.
After a couple of years which were tough for him on the pitch, you could see what winning that trophy meant to him.
Back at the top of his game, back winning trophies and may it continue.

What a night! The Daz Goulding tackle at the end was my favourite, but to be honest my head had gone after the Faz try (that wasn't). Had a 3 hour drive to Welsh Wales that night (family holiday, yes I know!) so have only watched the match on TV last night a week later, it's like winning it all over again!!!!!

Can't beleive it - thought we might sneak it but more likely Saints Big men and Big game know how would give them the edge. Not so - the team didn't seem phased even when only 10 points up - the looked totally confident - put that down to great coaching and preperation.
How can time tick so slowly in the second half..

As a non-Skyer, finally got my hands on a copy of the final to watch over and over and over....
Love Feka's hit on Foster at 25 mins roughly... then after a couple of other great tackles is caught offside.
Almost sums Feka up in that space of play.
Is it wrong that I almost started to sob as he walked into the tunnel?
Probably.

I'm sure they will... whatever happens he'll still be invited to the odd Riversiders meetings and the like... probably go into youth coaching around here who knows. At least we can find out what defenders have to face when he's running at fielden or Coley next season.Kittwazzer wrote:Couldn't have put it better myself.
