Edwards for Wigan ??
Re: Edwards for Wigan ??
If Madge goes it has to Shaun Wane.
We don't want a repetition of the Denis Betts episode.
I think loyalty deserves reward.

Edwards always has been/is my RL hero. I've always thought that he'd be Wigan coach at some point and I'm excited by the prospect. However, this is a case of heart over head. My heart says Edwards, my head says Wayne. :doz:

Kiss bye bye to this season then if they keep dragging it out, why can't they just fkin announce it an get it over with and get back to concentrating on Rugby League instead of shit like this:
"Mr Lenegan we heard you are chairman of Wigan is that correct?"
Or:
"Madge are you Australian?"
It's petty and immature.

Adrian Lam would be my choice. Fits the bill in all aspects. Currently assistant coach in the NRL as well, the team escapes me.

CP. Shaun captained England Schoolboys at both League and Union. Hardly no experience!cpwigan wrote:No and his RL knowledge is incredible. Unfortunately, there are ? marks regarding his man management IMO. Murphyesque ranting belies his RL intelligence and IMO you can only rant and rave a few times before it becomes negative and almost Murphy like embarassing.

I read that this morning. Opening paragraph grabs your attention, rest of article explains why it won't happen. Offiah is getting money for nothing!Sutty wrote:Martin Offiah has posted on his twitter page

Shaun Wane for me

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

He has been out of the game too long and has the unfortunate habit of rubbing up people the wrong way,no never in a million years would i want Edwards as head Coach.
