I absolutely love the Leeds write up. Its almost like Leeds played a good, clean game, with no forward passes, no chicken wings, no dirty niggling in tackles... I really mustve been watching a different game!

Whilst a very below par game last night Leeds did stop us from playing our normal game. And Mr bloody Halibut did nothing to help either team. For want of a better word the man is an utter DISGRACE!and should be sacked instantly. He makes Thaler and Childs look like chior boys.Though I am not overly concerned now that the result is conclusive.I am more concerned about Wednesday's game against Cas.If we put in another lack lustre performance like we did last night I will be very concerned. This should be a game in which we should be able to put in a good score.Le Cats put more than fifty past them last night. So if we cannot do similar it will be dissapointing.I would like to reiterate once again that Finch will come back to bite some of his critics in the posterior. :D

Deacon was also very poor and I'm not surprised he got taken off, I think Madge needs to leave him out against Cas and I really hope he doesn't just stick Lockers at 6. It's a big squad and he should use it.

It's a shame that Prescott got injured, he was looking like our best prop only to hobble off straight from the kick off in the second half. I think Hock should replace him at prop and Farrell should come in for Tuson. Our 3 remaining props having to work extra hard doesn't help when there's a midweek game though.

O'Loughlin would be my man of the match.
I must have been at a different game to you last night Cherry.
I thought Finch had an excellent game.
His defence was awesome, his pass to Hoffman for Carmont's try was top drawer.
Not his best kicking game in-play but not as bad as you are suggesting.

Ive calmed down slightly but here's my 2 pence worth.

1) Leeds came to spoil messing about about at the play of the ball and dirty tactics as usual. They didnt come to play well they came to stop Wigan playing well

2) Danny Maguire is the most disgustingly cheating scumbag of a rugby player i have ever seen! i hate him with an extreme passion, not content injuring himself cheating in the game with us last time he was here he blatenly jumps into pat to try and cheat him out of a try my teeth are clentching while i type because it still infuriates me now cheating no good scum bag.

3) Ref was appauling unlike most i dont think he was bias towards leeds i think he was just terrible how he can come to the opinion that when richards is going for a ball against 2 leeds men that if he catches the ball he scores he can score a try, that he was taking one of them out is beyond me!. Having said that we scored from a pass 7 yards forward.

4) bailey is still a scumbag and well done coley for planting one on him!

5) Wigan were below par, these spoiling tactics maybe echo'd by other clubs and we need to learn how to deal with them
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure

I never think that we cope with Leeds dirty tricks campaign at the best of times. When it is compounded with some obscure reffing decisions I can understand how the players must become frustrated but it is quite right to say we need to have an answer for this type of play.

And it needs to be one that the team can switch on very quickly when it becomes obvious Rugby League is not on the agenda!

You never quite get the feeling that Alibert is completely in control out there but i do find it a little funny that any team that can control the ruck against us is accused of dirty or slowing down tactics. Wigan regularly push it to the limit with regards to time in the ruck.

All our kickers were poor but he probably got it for that pass to Carmon for his try. Fantastic.

Deacon was also very poor and I'm not surprised he got taken off, I think Madge needs to leave him out against Cas and I really hope he doesn't just stick Lockers at 6. It's a big squad and he should use it.
Leeds targeted Deacon and pretty much made Sam anonymous at full back (good sides do this and its why he's not a 1 but a 6....). They had done their homework and some credit must go McDermott. He must have watched the Hudds game and made a plan.

Add that to Albert and him letting Leeds get away with murder around the tackle and PTB and for me thus was like Hull FC at the DW MkII.
It's a shame that Prescott got injured, he was looking like our best prop only to hobble off straight from the kick off in the second half. I think Hock should replace him at prop and Farrell should come in for Tuson. Our 3 remaining props having to work extra hard doesn't help when there's a midweek game though.
I agree I think both those should play and I also hope its not Lockers at 6 if Deacon does not play.
O'Loughlin would be my man of the match.
He was very good and got through a mountain of work as usual.
OMG Dave you really are stupid. Sam had a very good game, was still our greatest danger and for YOU he caught every kick, made an amazing last line of defence tackle. If you decide something, you are blind to whatever is in front of you staring you in the face.

Was anybody amazing last night? Hansen was far worse than v Hudds but you never mention that Pat made some big blunders but you never mention that YOU need to get odd your hobby horse.

Nobody has mentioned it but when he came on MIckey Mac made a difference, his tackling was very tight and he made lots of yards. Personally, I think Mickey Mac supports the notion of keeping players fresh hence why we should do the same with 2 to 4 others v Cas but I doubt we will other than the known return of Hock.
If anybody still doubts whether or not Sam T had a good game then watch the 15 minutes after half time and who sets up the momentum to get those tries

Deacs is great at the passes that as you say start the right to left sweeping moves. He is living on limited time though and at some point we will have to bite the bullet and blood somebody in his place. On the Webb try IIRC Hansen let him down by leaving him exposed on the inside IMO. He is however, our weakest defender.

I find it baffling how fans argue that Charnley is not a good defender just as they said the same re Goulding. The right side defence does not work as well as a team and it is time fans woke up to the fact defence is about teamwork.
