Wes. I think anyone who has seen a few 20s games would agree that they'd prefer to see our own talent making the grade rather than a mercenary from Salford. Makes you wonder what the Wire reserves must be thinking, especially with the Bridge signing.
And on this topic, who will stand down to make way for him at Wire?

Must have signed the contract before last Saturday!

Salford must be pretty annoyed with wire, first myler and then ratchford - both are good players, although neither are in the same class as Sam.
If he would rather go to wire, then no loss to us - hodgson only went there because they pay scant regard to the cap and so trumped what the giants offered (incidently, the fact that hodgson put in a "Mathers" on Saturday made me very happy!).
Sooner or later the RFL will realise what everyone else in SL has - and wire will be in big trouble when they do!

Frano: I don't know why I would ever want to go to St Helens or Leeds

Footballers spend 90 minutes pretending they're injured. Rugby League players spend 80 minutes pretending they're not.

I was aware of it being a done deal, at the Hull KR home game, rumour only at that time though.Whelley Warrior wrote:Must have signed the contract before last Saturday!Prefer Rangi Chase myself.

The rumour is he'd much rather sit & watch Challenge Cup Finals in the future than play in them!

Definitely gone to the right place then, even if they get to Wembley. Ask Richie Myler!Wandering Warrior wrote:The rumour is he'd much rather sit & watch Challenge Cup Finals in the future than play in them!
