If that isn't exploiting Joe Public I don't know what is :exc:

Do they not realise that 'Us up North' don't get the extra wage allowances given out to those who work in London.

It's just a bloody rip off :exc:

And I for one will not be shelling out any of my hard earned pension at those prices :exc:
Was that you in the East Stand blowing up all those balloons before kick off yesterday?

You will have to save your pension for extra balloons for Wembley :D
Yes, that was me & don't worry I have plenty for Wembley :)
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

RE Match Programmes. The extra ones are sold off and appear on Ebay a couple/few weeks after the Final often far below face value.

reply from stadium

Dear Carl

Thank you for contacting Wemlbey Stadium.

Small personal use quantities of food are permitted. All food must be in small bags and in disposable packaging and if possible all contained in a small rucksack. Please be aware that no metal cutlery is allowed.

Water bottles must be able to be decanted into a supplied plastic cup. Please note that water is available inside. Cartons are permitted inside the Stadium,

Please print this email off to show at the turnstiles should you have a problem.

Kind regards

Excellent! A company representative who would rather work for Wemlbey stadium rather than Wembley.

It will be a cold day in hell before I pay their prices.

Thanks for the official e-mail - I'll work to that and also get a bit sneaky with e.g.coat pockets, etc.

While the response from the PR man is welcome, it remains the case that the food and drink at Wembley is seriously expensive and of poor quality.

If you want to be healthy you should never eat or drink anything that has been advertised on television. This allows avoidance of naff hamburgers, evil sugary rubbish from Atlanta, and worst of all breakfast cereal. In this case it includes 'orrible pies from north London. My advice is take your own but not in a box that could be misconstrued as a projectile. (The only acceptable projectile at Wembley is projectile vomiting after eating their food!)

In law a contract isn't made until price and product have been agreed. Perhaps the trick at Wembley would be to order a lot of stuff. When they quote the price protest that it's too much and decline to buy it.
