16-20 vs Huddersfield
36-37 vs Widnes
20-22 vs Warrington

Last season we lost 4 games in the entire regular league season, we've already lost 3 from 8. We need to get this rectified asap as the ability to see out tight matches wins competitions.
We drew several games last season as well but it is those games and those kind of losses you mention above that Wane said he wanted to eradicate. He specifically said one of his aims was to see out close matches better than we did last year.

In my opinion I reckon Wane had a bigger hand in those three losses than Madge did in any of the four we lost last year.

Also, having just re-watched Fridays game it struck me how much cover tackling and work Finch does for our side, he is certainly one of the most if not THE most valuable player for Wigan, almost Barrett-esque.

Thoughts?
agree his defense can be good , but his all round game is lacking in attack and positional kicking, and to compare him with Trent Barrett beggers belief
Wigan is and always will be a town of Cherry & White

You need to read the whole thread, and the subsequent posts by Tony, who explains what he meant by the opening statement. I think you've quoted out of context. :)
