Personally I think it's a panic buy.
If he's the best in our game it tells me that we are watching a deteriating game.
He can't play in the cup.
After the exiles game there were negative comments on this site about him.
He's been at Saints is it twice? they didn't want him.
Now we think he's the best thing since sliced bread.
I don't think he's as good as Brough.

He is an average player but nothing more.A very strange signing imo.He is cup tied so if he plays on Sunday it does little for continuity.Also it is only earlier in the season Wane was boasting about how well off we were with Mellor,Powell and Williams yet here we are signing a player that Stains got rid of.

Good signing IMO, compare him to Tommy when we 1st got him and Matty is better compare them now and they are very similar types of players but Tommy is more complete, a season or 2 at Wigan and Matty will be 1 of the best 7's in the country.
