You can if the players club give you permission to talk to him.the winky one wrote:He's signed..it's on the website...he plays Sunday..

“Usually the fans that abuse players like Sam have never done anything of any note themselves. They’re nobodies, whose greatest claim to fame is abusing someone who has, and these so-called ‘Eddie the Experts’ pretend to their mates that they have."

Personally I think it's a panic buy.
If he's the best in our game it tells me that we are watching a deteriating game.
He can't play in the cup.
After the exiles game there were negative comments on this site about him.
He's been at Saints is it twice? they didn't want him.
Now we think he's the best thing since sliced bread.
I don't think he's as good as Brough.
Rant over :smil:

He is an average player but nothing more.A very strange signing imo.He is cup tied so if he plays on Sunday it does little for continuity. Also it is only earlier in the season Wane was boasting about how well off we were with Mellor,Powell and Williams yet here we are signing a player that Stains got rid of.
Re: Matty Smith - Scrum Half Problem Solved?
Good signing IMO, compare him to Tommy when we 1st got him and Matty is better compare them now and they are very similar types of players but Tommy is more complete, a season or 2 at Wigan and Matty will be 1 of the best 7's in the country.
