Is it for your own conveniece you disregard all the positive brilliant, destructive runs, excellent footwork, gamebreakinng offloads to open defences?
NO, he has a short fuse, everyone knows it, just got a feeling Leeds will be out to spoil with dirty tactics, if Hock falls for it then we are in trouble
You said he would revert to type which would suggest it is how he normally plays and then described the equivalent of Ryan Bailey.
He will be targeted no worse by Leeds than any other team. Sam has shown that he is just as likely to react to Leeds' dirty play as Hock but you didn't mention him?
As far as the original post, I would agree this is going to be a much harder, closer game but I have to have confidence in this team, we have proven that they are the strongest team in the league.

Meds I've never gone out for public humiliation aimed at you before but here goes.
You're an idiot!! You may be a sausage and rock fan (both of which I massively approve) but your absolute ignorant, prejudiced and misguided views over Hock are getting ridiculous. He's one of, if not the best players in our squad and any rugby league team either here and abroad would snap him up in a heartbeat. The problem is how blinkered you are with your points that you simply ignore how good he is. I would have respect for anyone who holds up their hands and says "I was wrong" but you can't. You won't and as such you are going to get quite rightly lambasted for your bigotry.
Please stop letting yourself down. Hock is one of the best reasons to watch RL and you ARE bright enough to realise this. You just don't because the prospect of having to admit you were wrong is beyond you.
Love you really……but your opinions are getting very silly!
take a look over on RLfans sometime, have a poke around and you will see that i no longer have a problem with Hock and haven't for a few month, he has proved me wrong and i have admitted that on that site,i have even had him as my MoM on a couple of occasuions, the fact is many teams try spoiling tactics with Hock, we have seen the opposition in recent games trying to goad Gaz into losing it, Leeds are desperate for CC glory and will try imo to upset him as much as possible,we all know Hock has the odd bad game, i get the feeling that Saturday will be one of those games with the help of Leeds

Fair enough. I'm not going to argue with that. Keep up the sausage rock buddy!!!!!!!!!!!

"But look at, look at Lydon go here...Remniscent of those two great tries when he won the Lance Todd... He's got Hanley inside him. He's going all the way..........."
If we can put aside the Kiwi/Meds squabble and get back to the matter in hand - how will we do on Saturday?
The 2 previous destructions of the "champions and world club champions" (ha ha) don't mean we only have to turn up to do it again. However, whatever we feel about Leeds' play, there is no doubt that they will fear Wigan far more than we should fear them.
When we've played in our pomp, and that's been a fair bit of this season, everyone should fear us. Just occasionally we don't turn up - Widnes, Bradford etc. But when we do there isn't a team in the country that can beat us.
I do believe we'll turn up, I don't see us giving this one away just yet. And if I was a betting man I guess the opposition will be from 12 miles south of us, and not over the pennines.
Bring it on!
It is often said it is harder to get to wembley than to win a Wembley and Semis are notoriously difficult. Nevertheless, we are quite capable of winning and Sam T / Hocky will be key figures.
