Check what Meds said Kitt, I assumed he meant on a playing basis as any other basis is irrelevant!!Kittwazzer wrote:That's probably why no-one has said it!TrueBlueWarrior wrote:I am a massive Charnley fan but to say we will miss him more than Sam is ridiculous.

Re: Charnley
Must confess I'd missed jondebaptist20 but I read Med's comment to say he personally would be more gutted. I inferred that it was because he'd already come to terms with Sam's departure!
Re: Charnley
Sam was always going to leave so why cry over spilt milk, Charnley however is a different kettle of fish, like Farrell i can see Charnley being a big part of the club for many years so would be worse in the long run for the club if he left imo

If there was much to this then you'd think we'd have done more about trying to get Briscoe

Would be gutted to see Charnley go. He seems like one of those who'd be at Wigan for a long time, and is purpose-built for rugby league.
Don't know about the validity of any of the rumours - but I would still be surprised to see him move any time soon - especially to union.

Footballers spend 90 minutes pretending they're injured. Rugby League players spend 80 minutes pretending they're not.

What pleasure some supporters get in starting these rumours is beyond me.
Unless of course, they are started from those at the dark side of Billinge Hill.

I know you always err on the side of optimism but can I ask you this:Whelley Warrior wrote:Anyone would think that the conveyor belt had broken down!
At what point would you start to worry about the amount of players Wigan were losing to NRL/ Union?
Do your believe it doesn't matter and that no matter how many players we lose we can replace them with local talent or is there a point at which you would become concerned?
Whatever happened to Billy McGinty's pineapple?
