i agree with what somebody posted earlier, you would think if he had signed elsewhere , it would have been released already, so could be a sign he is coming to us, also i wouldn't be one bit suprised if it is announced after fridays game, been the last home match, any views?

The mole on twitter has 'confirmed' that he has signed for Leeds. He's pretty reliable with his information.

Its a poor effort from wigan if we've not managed to tie Briscoe down IMO. You'd of thought we would have more room in the cap than Leeds and a guaranteed starting spot, more than can be said at Leeds.

He really has lost the plot if so.

Some of us may think it's fine for players to break contracts so they can earn a higher wage or play in a higher profile competition, some may not but a feeling of pride that they are plying their trade elsewhere? Really?

NRL rugby league news on twitter says fai fai loah at Catalan and Briscoe at Leeds.

If we've not made serious enquiries about these players then IL needs to explain why not.

If BJB is off to Wire then Briscoe will be getting a starting spot, just not on the wing he normally plays on historically.

He is also from the Leeds area isn't he and that may be a reason he would prefer going there. And we don't know what offers were made and what values we would put on him, but really he is a top class player who was available so we should have been looking at him more seriously than we appear to have done. We all knew he was available all year after the potential move to Cronulla was called off.

Money talks. He's a pro RL player and as we see with our own turnover of players, they follow the money.

Wigan isn't on another planet so I think concerns about being in Wigan as opposed to Leeds would disappear for the right package.

The most concerning aspect of this is we don't even seem to have given him the opportunity to turn us down for whatever reason.
