No Alcohol!!

Got anything else on your mind that isn't about the Warriors? If you do, this is the place to post.

There were a few near us who could hardly stand, two especially 2 or 3 rows from the front behind the sticks. One of their party thought it would be good to verbally abuse Morley telling him what an effing illegitimate person he was and what he would do to him if he had the chance. Morley just turned and smiled when he saw what an absolute *********** was spouting such garbage. The steward at the front looked quite intimidated or I suspect this bunch if idiots, a disgrace to the real supporters, club and town would have been out on their collective ears.
They were so drunk they only responded late if course to any cheering ooos and arrrs. They were just oblivious to the game other fans with families and some very young children and their attitude was one of look at me I'm pissed, I can scream abuse at Warrington players aren't I great. No you are not great you are just a disgrace to the club and the sport of rugby.

And therein lies the problem with a 6.00 kick off on a Saturday. Some of our contingent met up in the Moon at 9 am. The rest of us caught up with them in the Oyster Bar at noon. It was heaving. Ale flowed freely and everybody was having a bloody good time. The guys from the Moon have never missed a match all season home or away and that is how they like to enjoy it. We were all sat together in the same block and there were no problems whatsoever.

I think there is a small contingent who just see occasions like this as an excuse for a massive piss-up. They sink as much as they can and, not being used to it, tend to disgrace themselves!

Back to the car? Were you driving it by any chance? Handy that you knew your name in case an officer pulled you over eh?

Life is short yes, but I'm glad we don't all have to resort to use of artificial stimulants to enjoy ourselves (and I am aware not to spoil the enjoyment of life for others).

I didn't drink a drop of alcohol and enjoyed a wonderful day, and I can recall every minute of it - spoiled only by the attitudes of a few drunks!

P.S Anybody who thinks they can be drunk and able to understand anything / everything is a truly unique individual.

Some friends of mine experienced problems at OT. They were supporting Wigan and in the North stand. After the game they told me 3 Wigan fans were 'removed' for being drunk and a nuisance and disturbing everyone's enjoyment of the game by constantly coming and going and standing up the whole time so nobody else could see!
