What do you mean "leave them alone"? The girl posted, I responded. I thought that's what we're supposed to do.....

BTW it feels quite strange to have someone talk about my future demise whilst still (just) below the mid forty mark!!

I'm not hiding behind excuses Rob - if i feel that they've played crap, I will leave early if i wish to, though I did stay to boo one gutless defeat earlier in the season. Was that better than walking 2 minutes early?

What I do object to, is being told by some girl who obviously doesn't have enough to worry about in life that I'm a glory hunter. Fail to see how I'm one of those if I only miss 5 minutes rugby at the JJB all season and will definitely be renewing my season ticket, even if, as is possible, we finish 3rd from bottom.

On Friday, I left in disgust as soon as the video ref gave the winning try. It was anger at what I see as an increasingly bent game, as yet again we have been cheated by Kirkpatrick.

I reserve the right to miss the last minute or two of the Salford game if I'm not happy too. Live with it everybody.

I think we're starting to judge people unfairly. This is the problem. People walk for different reasons. There's nothing that can be done. I also agree it is good to have young fans, such as myself, and it's always good to see enthusiastic young kids enjoying the game. I think we'll all have to agree to disagree. :conf:

Can I make it crystal clear that I never ment to generalise about wigan glory seekers. I appreciate the fact that there are wigan fans who leave the match early due to genuine reasons. Over the years I have noticed a lot more fans leave early when we are losing. It just doesn't make sense when you're wearing the words Ancient and Loyal. If JJ's the ancient, does that make me Loyal?

I have played RL for 10 years now, and i would be absolutly gutted if my fans were to walk out on my team when we lost a match. a supporting crowd is one of the biggest lifts a player can get.

by the way JJ I never realised that people can learn so much about a person from a user name? maybe if i called myself 'Mrs RL OAP' you may have a little bit more respect for my views.

and just for the record, I do work full time and I also make a 70 mile round trip to the JJB every home match.

Oh yeah, can I ask how I caused offence by using emoticons? :eh:

I've been visiting this so called supporters site for quite a long time now, even though I only recently bothered to sign in and get involved a little in the chat. But after reading the way you have treated Miss RL and made chauvenistic remarks based soley on the user name and photo provided I am disgusted.

Can I expect to be referred to as a silly cow or alien because of mine?

Maybe Miss RL should re-register, Primrose&Blue gets better treatment off JJ and Alex the Warriour, or is that just because he's a he and therefore more knowledgable and better informed about all things RL?

How have I mistreated her? I can't be arsed going back through all the posts, but the theme is that she is critical of people exercising their free will, and I took exception to that.

Also, I took the opportunity to point out to her that the so-called Wigan Walk is not a modern phenomenon.

If you logged on more frequently you would see that this subject has been done to death many times over, hence my post starting with "let's put this crap to bed once and for all".

Right, now that I've explained my position please point out to me where I have made chauvenistic remarks, and how these have disgusted you. I don't recall making any comment on her avatar.

I don't give Primrose&Blue - or anyone - better treatment than others. I respond to the words in the post with my own point of view regardless who has initiated the thread.

Why you are accusing me of bringing gender into this I don't know, other than to surmise it could be something to do with your own insecurities.

If you have made a mistake in attributing something to me that was posted by another, please feel free to apologise at your leisure.

Dear JJ

Please accept my sincere apologies for defending a fellow warrior fan, who like me has only just started to contribute to the discussions on this board. I like her, feel you referring to her as "the girl" is somewhat disrespectful.

You also quite rudely posted "Maybe when you are a bit older and have watched the team for a few years you will realize this."

Like it or not todays youth be them players or supporters are the future of our great game and to treat them with such contempt when they try to get more involved is poor to say the least.

I'm just glad that our youth development team arn't moulded from the same pie as you.
