Can't see for a second why he wants to do this.
If I didn't have a family I would have moved my business to OZ too.
Fantastic player who will be very much missed, and wish him the very best, but we managed before without him and we will survive without him in 2016.
Players come and go, some players will return, others wont.
I like the idea too that junior players should have to do 3 years with the club, but what if that player simply didnt have his heart or head with the club anymore - would we really want that player not at their best?
It is what it is and I wish him all the luck
Yes id miss them, yes it would be frustrating etc BUT id rather have staff that want to work for me than those that dont. No matter how well paid or trained somebody is, if their heart isn't in their job, youll never get 100%. Ok so Budgie at 50% is pretty darn good, but most (not all) can be replaced at some point. Companies and clubs of any game have staff turn over, yet they survive, albeit in cycles. You have good years and not so good years.
Im by no means saying I want budgie to go, I think hes fantastic and will leave a big hole, but that hole will eventually be filled by some fresh talent (whole will then leave for the NRL!)
