Even stevos stopped going on about tackling round the legs. An effective tackle prevents offloads and controls the opposition down onto the floor on his back giving time for the defense to get back and be ready to advance. We've had great defence for the last four or five years and when its working well it can smother the opposition.

One retired decades ago and would follow any technique to win, the other initially tried to resist but now employs wrestling coaches.
