No Mase both areas are great I live in billinge but the Wigan side and I love it!! It's quiet quaint and a 5 minute walk your in the countryside or a 5 minute drive your in the hustle and bustle.

I know this will not be popular but I preferred Foundry Lane when it was all slag heaps and old railway tracks. A visit to William Todd's plant yard followed by a pint at the Railway, served by Ken Gee!

Lots of reports in local press of kids causing trouble in Ashton around the park and the pubs/clubs can be a bit rough as well.

A few new small developments in Orrell at the moment, one at the back of the old Rose & Crown pub, i live on a new Gated small development in Orrell, some still available on here.
