Ratchford
Re: Ratchford
A good player IMO but we'd be losing more power in the backs. We're not a big side and this would reduce that even more. Our game plan does seem based around pace and fast ball movement so perhaps this fits well with that.

If true, the question is where would he play seeing that he is a Full Back/Stand Off with Sam back and Hampshire around?Mike wrote:A good player IMO but we'd be losing more power in the backs. A replacement at Loose Forward perhaps?

I understand, it may be that I am getting the information from the same source.Kittwazzer wrote:Close to the source but can't say more than that for obvious reason!shaunedwardsfanclub wrote:Where has that come from Kitt?Kittwazzer wrote:This rumour is gathering legs. Looking more and more like he'll be in a Wigan shirt next season with Gelling going to NRL!

Fairpoint and i agree Smith is not good enough as a kicker but why recruit Ratchford when George and Rocky should be our halfbacks for years to come!!shaunedwardsfanclub wrote:I watched Wigan last week and they were all pants, Smith misses easy kicks every week.East Stand Faithful wrote:Just watched the first half of the Wire v Saints game and Ratchford is pants. I agree ESF but Wane doesn't! Smith showed his lack of natural rugby ability when he broke through yesterday, Williams and Hampshire would have rounded the fullback.East Stand Faithful wrote:Fairpoint and i agree Smith is not good enough as a kicker but why recruit Ratchford when George and Rocky should be our halfbacks for years to come!!shaunedwardsfanclub wrote:I watched Wigan last week and they were all pants, Smith misses easy kicks every week.East Stand Faithful wrote:Just watched the first half of the Wire v Saints game and Ratchford is pants.
