Not a pretty game of rugby(how could it be with Mr Crabtree playing?)but enjoyable nonetheless.

Smith,Bateman and Farrell excellent last night a pleasure to watch them,Dom Manfredi I'm sure will grow into his new role so we're going to have to give him time.

As for the atmosphere it was ok quiet to begin with but people got chatty as we went behind with a couple of cracking comments from behind me when the announcer got Crosbys name wrong when he scored.

10-0 down their kick return and massive hit from none other than SOL on Crabtree got the crowd and our team going!! Quality man he is!!

I also think Clubb is becoming one of those players who's defence can raise the crowd.

I believe the GF will be contested by 2 teams from Wigan/Leeds/Saints. Seriously don't think any of the others are good enough!

The shortcomings we all saw last night have been present all season and we have had constant reassurances that they will be worked upon . Well we have seen the result and that is we have not improved one bit as a team.

But we don't need to be the best team in Super League. That is Leeds. We just need to be better than the team we play in any given match!

That is true if all you are interested in is the result. If you want to watch some quality play winning ugly numerous times doesn't cut it.

The players may be fitter these days but the skill level is dire compared to the 80's and 90's.

Does that include George and Liam the other night?

DO you mean during the period that there was no salary cap and Wigan signed all the top International players they could and we ended up watching one sided games with cricket scores, even when playing away.

Yes, plenty of skill but only from one team!
