Josh Charnley

Got a hot rumour from a source inside the club, or just something you heard down the pub? Then what are you waiting for, post it on The Rumour Mill.

On current form Josh deserves a decent contract, which is presumably the root of the issue.
That may be true Rob but who has their salary cut to pay for it?
Manfredi could go and Josh stay. Now would people be happy with that. Or could we nor compete with the wage Sale offered.

I think if there was a straight choice between the two then the vast majority would vote to keep Manfredi. Could we compete with Sale's offer? The answer is not in a million years. If I was IFL then I would be offering Dom an improved long-term deal. Forget the three years he has on his contract use Josh's money and tie him down for six. It is imperative that we keep the core of our best young juniors if we are to prosper.

Footballers spend 90 minutes pretending they're injured. Rugby League players spend 80 minutes pretending they're not.

Looked like I was right in October! :(
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
