It doesn't matter now but can anyone shed any light on the decision where a pass from Warrington hit Joel - went clearly backwards - was knocked on by a Warrington player and the result was a penalty to Warrington for offside?
I saw Hicks running around vaguely in the direction of a touch judge but touch judges never give offside and certainly didn't in the rest of the match last night. And the 8-point try was laughable. As SOL said "He's got a right to make a challenge" but Hicks wasn't about to listen. Later on Manfredi got a serious head-shot as he touched down............ and........ Nothing, of course.

Totally agree, just for the record I think Wire got some tough calls as well but we were on the receiving end of some horrible decisions at crucial times!!

Quite right - notably, there was one Wigan scrum near the end that was clearly a Warrington one. Hicks was incompetent for both sides last night. You could see that players had no confidence in him and precious little respect for him.

I think there is no issue that Hick was hopeless both ways but often the timing, field position can screw you totally. Ganson needs to start taking some responsibility.

The problem is Sarge doesn't seem to recognise he's not playing left centre. On a few occasions he has chimed in on the left and basically got in the way. He's certainly better at passing left to right and would be better using it on the other side of the field.

Thought Wane conducted himself very well post match interview where he only hinted at some 50/50 decisions going against us.
