Re: v Wakefield
Was listening to a NFL programme late on earlier in the week and I was gobsmacked they avoid any tackling and excessive physical contact due to wear and tear it has through the season given the impact injuries on players.Jimmy Birts wrote:Gonna be a tough week at training blah blah blah.
I have never believed that Wanes methods were an issue until I looked at statement the following day. How many players have we got that are injured and how many are injured through over training.
MM was unluck broken ankle but some of the others I do wonder if its the over training that is the root cause of it.

I like my blinkers. They are cherry and white with and a bit of traffic warden yellow slapped on this year.DaveO wrote:Get the blinkers off. Last year means diddly squat as if it ever meant anything anyway since we didn't win a thing.
Far too easy an excuse is injuries with players like Mossop, Tautai, Clubb, Smith, Isa and several other first team regulars taking to the field.
These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

Listening to radio Leeds on way home from 4 year olds birthday party ( and to think I was swearing at daughter in law arranging party today when his birthday is tomorrow) thank goodness radio Leeds remarking on Cas comeback v Widnes remarked that Widnes 18-0 up in even time because Hampshire gifted them all three with dropped kicks.adiddy wrote:Maybe with so many players out we should have recalled Hampshire![]()

The worry is Gimble, the Wane reaction will be to beast the players after a defeat like this and have the players beating the crap out of each other.

Last time we had a crisis like this was 2006 injury wise and I always remember Brian Noble's interview in the papers and he said most if not all were back training including Danny Orr.
I do think we are heading for a crisis point with injuries were lucky we got a decent start otherwise with the injuries we got Leeds could have had company.

As for the comment from Gimble, our injuries have occurred during games this season unless you can prove otherwise then it's a mute point!!
