v Wakefield
Re: v Wakefield
Re injuries. Remember what happens in training or your game plan can both led to injuries that are eventually suffered in a game.

Re: v Wakefield
playing devils advocate TBW isnt your point slightly contradictory
on the one hand you say that we are having a freak amount of injuries by sheer chance
on the other you are saying that at the end of the season we always basically have a fit team
the second point basically seems to accept that we have some control over our injuries - like we "do" something at the end of seasons to control how many there are - otherwise youre saying its down to pure fluke we havent had any injuries at the end of the season and im not sure how that strengthens your argument

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure
Re: v Wakefield

The only possible proof I would say is the way Madge had Wigan plating, the games were often won after 20-30 minutes and the opposition spent much of the game in their 20. Under Wane, opposition teams talk about how tough, how hard a game Wigan give you but if an opp finds that from a single game then worse the Wigan players must feel that game after game. Wigan rarely control games under Wane and whilst an accident Mac's season ender is a player giving everything to make a last ditch tackle on a breaking opponent. For me, the way Wigan play under Wane causes more injuries to our own players than we suffered the way we played under Madge.

Re: v Wakefield
Not at all the simple point is through the season we have injuries like any other team but when it comes to crunch time we almost have a fit squad, this season is a one off and we currently have a lot of injuries which is a little freakish but hopefully at the end of the season we will be getting most if not all back!Wigan_forever1985 wrote:playing devils advocate TBW isnt your point slightly contradictory

Re: v Wakefield
WE should also TB be fitter, stronger and less injury prone now TB under Wane than we were when Madge arrived and found a lax training regime. Technology / treatment has also improved.

Do we have more injuries under Wane than Madge TB?TrueBlueWarrior wrote:Not at all the simple point is through the season we have injuries like any other team but when it comes to crunch time we almost have a fit squad, this season is a one off and we currently have a lot of injuries which is a little freakish but hopefully at the end of the season we will be getting most if not all back!Wigan_forever1985 wrote:playing devils advocate TBW isnt your point slightly contradictory

Again, can you evidence that original statement because that is not evidence!cpwigan wrote:Can I take the 5th

So under Madge we never made a last ditch tackle?

I don't know do we? Re: v Wakefield
Yes, we dominated games from the start, controlled field position and possession so we had to strain far less to make tackles and the opposition where already tired.TrueBlueWarrior wrote:Again, can you evidence that original statement because that is not evidence!cpwigan wrote:Can I take the 5th
