Nothing surprises me anymore regarding the RFL.To say this idea is ludicrous is an understatement.

The man who was going to make Rugby League big in the USA, not the character in films.

Re: Noble to Canada
It has been a massive talking point over the recent week as the RFL launched the Canadian based team, Toronto Wolfpack and their entrance into the English Kingston Press League 1, for the 2017 season.
Toronto launched their team, by announcing that former Leigh Centurions coach, Paul Rowley will take charge of the team, whilst former Great Britain coach, Brian Noble, will be the director of rugby. The plan for Eric Perez’s side is to play home and away games, in blocks of four or five.
A lot of discussion has taken place regarding the financing of the club, with a lot of opinions banished, before they have read the articles. The Canadian club will be self-funded and the RFL will not be funding any part of it. This includes the travel expenses of all teams heading over to Canada.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
