Fair enough if you've thought it for years then the Leeds game hasn't had any influence. I can't say I agree though.

My point stand that us as fans are way more biased than any match official could ever be. You'll remember the calls against us way more than any that went for us. Not a criticism of course, that's the nature of fandom. I'm sure on a Warrington forum there will be the same things being said as you're saying. Because they're biased fans too.

And I am not disagreeing with you, I'm trying to say they are my worst nightmare as it feels as if they are worse than all the other officials. Yes I have a fans bias but I do not feel as negative towards say Bent Haler as I do to Hicks

Yes, some refs are better than others. I don't see, though, why the selection of a particular ref should effect the chances of either side winning.

Put it this way: it is 99.9% in a team's own hands how they are treated. Refs are only human: surround them with abuse all game, and they may well lose patience.
As John Monie said "the two things you can't control are the referee and the weather,so concentrate on the things you can control".

Well I hold my hands up, if Hicks hadn't given the Tierney try on the field it wouldn't have been given, he also binned Ratchford when I wouldn't normally have expected him to, however I am still not convinced Tierney's first (no) try was from a forward pass and thought he was very picky with some of the penalties he gave at the start of the second half, I thought he was trying to make up for the amount he awarded us in the first half (some of which were picky)

We cannot complain about the referee tonight. I think the season will be over for Ben though, 3 matches ?

The referee or Flower?

Tongue in cheek Mick? Sorry but he deserved anything / everything he gets. There is no defence for leaping at a kicker with your 'elbow cocked'. For me the GF was not as bad as that tonight.

IC He has no defence whatsoever for that send off. If it was v Wigan we would want the culprit punished big time. It is worrying that he even attempted what he did. His previous will count against him too.
