Yes, once again we find ourselves finishing games stronger than our opponents. But does this come at the price of the high number of injuries we seem to get in training (more than other sides? It seems so)?

And if so, is this a price worth paying?

Some of the Rugby played was outstanding.
Now we know what this team is really capable of.
At least we can agree to agree on one thing Ted ????????

No, Ted said pronably :D

We have had the BEST effort of the season and the WORST of the season in very close proximity.

From K.O we attacked with greater pace than the past. I wonder if big FPN has had an input to the tactics because he has already been quoted as saying "one difference he has noticed between NFL and
Super League is the pace of the game".
Keep it up Wigan.

FPN is not impressed with the officiating. Perhaps it is time for 2 referees.

Great game, great result. Well done to Jake Shorrocks - Wire ran at him time after time and he stood his ground, made 45 tackles!

Lots of good posts on here, including CP's :-)

I agree that the play-the-ball is the number 1 problem in our game. Constant interference and play-acting by players and poor control from referees. Hicks contributed massively to the spectacle by ensuring quick ptb's imo.

I agree with what I think a few posters have thought: that Hicks is one of our poorer refs, but in fact on this occasion had a pretty good game, and got the big things right.

IMO Hick showed the way for SL. 99% of the time POTBS are slow/tedious and messy. Coaches are aty fault. Ironically Wane complains when it goes against us when we lose that the game is too slow and then complains when the win and the game sees penalties for slowing the game down. The moment referees start punishing teams more you will see a transformation because nobody wants repeat sets and time in their own half. If it means Wigan have to change then so be it (personally I think we could be better for it) BUT if SL as a whole changes for the better then so be it.

Do we want games like Friday or marathon slogs of slow POTB.
