Just putting it out there but how about Wane pulling a joker & still naming Lockers in the match day squad, it wouldn't be the first time he's done it!!!

I think that is a real possibility. If he had named him I would have guessed he would not have played. as you say mind games.

He did it a couple of years ago with Lockers not naming him in the 19 but turned up in the match day squad.

Wane has confirmed this morning that lockers has trained all week and will take part in the captains run today.

He'll be given every chance to play.

This has come from a member of the squad so unless a late pull like last time in the warm up it seems sure he will play . Sharrocks must be devastated

Would rather have him in my 17 playing 20 mins than shorrocks.

The experience he brings alone will be worth it.

Shorrocks and Bretherton will get their chance, this should act as a massive incentive to work even harder for the next 12 months.

No way is it a selfish decision. If O'Loughlin didn't think he could make it he wouldn't. As I said earlier in the week, if he's fit he plays. Shorocks is a good young player, but in the last couple of weeks the intensity has dropped when he has come on. I'd rather have 20 minutes of Lockers than 20 minutes of Shorrocks. I'm sure Mark Bitcon will be well aware of how many minutes Lockers can play if necessary and they will manage that game time
