Yes fair play to the coaching staff and to both Sean's especially. Right decision and a job very well done
Never argue with an idiot. He will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.

Whether it was the right decision to play Lockers we will never know.
What we CAN be certain of is that it didn't cost us the match.

So it was the right call. Regardless of anyone attempting to save face it worked and we managed to stop Wire going through us as Hull did the previous week.Wintergreen wrote:Whether it was the right decision to play Lockers we will never know.

I said i wouldnt play lockers if he wasnt fit.Looked in decent order to me when warming up pre match. No decision to make if hes fit.He plays, simple realy. Hes the best forward Wigan have had for as long as i can remember.

No, we will never know if it was the right decision to play him or not.thegimble wrote:So it was the right call. I don't think he did much tbh, but then maybe he organised the defensive line?
Maybe if another player was picked we would have won by 20 points. Maybe we would have lost the game.

With hindsight, it wasn't an incorrect decision to play him (but granted it was a gamble, calculated)Wintergreen wrote:No, we will never know if it was the right decision to play him or not.thegimble wrote:So it was the right call. Right decision, it's not only what he does on the pitch himself, it's the influence he provides for all the other players.

I'm so glad I was wrong
At the time of the OP, I didn't know that Sean had been training during the week. What a good call from Lockers & Shaun Wane.
If Lockers carries on playing next season, which I hope he does, he may move more to prop than loose.
I am so proud of this team, I am so proud to support them, I'm so proud to be a Wiganer ????????

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

I think it helped Isa knowing he would be replced and could slog himself silly before that point. Lockers then added a bit of class but truth be told he could never have done 80. He was struggling by the end of his stint.
