Seuseu is off quota, our quota players are Dallas, Moran and Fletcher. I imagine Moran will go at the end of the season unless he improves dramatically, Dallas will retire but Fletcher will be here for 2007, leaving us with probably 2 quota spaces to fill.
Good point, I knew that anyway but I was just in a rush posting before I went to work. He will still have alot of cash to play with and 2 overseas spots to fill if Seuseu and Moran does leave.

He will have all 3 import places to play with at the end of this season, Seuseu, Moran and Dallas are all off contract.

Seuseu wont be offered another deal if he has another season like the last one. Moran is being quoted as saying he is retiring, why I dont know he is only 28. Dallas is retiring and his spot will be definate.
Good point, Chris..hadn't thought that far ahead, but yeah, you're right.
About time the speculation started for those three spots! How about Gower, Gasnier and SBW?
Geoff... swap Gower for Benji Marshall or Scott Prince and that'd do me! :D

Yeah...I've seen Minichello, King, Cooper, Tate, Lockyer, Prince, Buderus and quite a few others too - they are obviously all due to sign for us in the next day or two. Can't think of any other reason for them to be here.

I can't really believe everyone is taking this "no new signings" anouncement so seriously. They have been saying that squad building for next season is complete since June or something...

If we do get a new signing, they will deny it until it is officially announced, as they have to due to contractual reasons.

Personally, I'm more inclined to believe Millwards "7 new signings" was a genuine slip of the tongue, that revealed the truth (because that is a nicer truth for me to believe in).
Very true. If a suitable player suddenly becomes available due to injury / falling out with coach / wanting more money / wanting to sample some new flavour of pie / whatever then the club may sign them up, regardless of any statements saying that signings were completed. We're, what, still 4 months away from the start of next season, that's a long time away and a lot can change before then.

As MrsLam suggested in one of the few other threads I've bothered reading after going away for a few days, things no-one could have predicted have happened this year (Farrell defecting, Newton leaving, Mildred being sacked from Saints and coming to Wigan, etc), so who knows what might happen before the start of SLXI?

I am keeping my fingers crossed that we will sign another back, someone who could make breaks and get us out of tight corners. Even with Scully gone, the pack looks good to me, especially the back row. I would swap our backs with pretty much any of the other big clubs' back lines...

Doug stand the reason i can say this is becuase Godwin for the much of his last year at Castleford played scrum half, and alot of people thought Godwin was brought in as a Hooker come half back as people at the club bought him for his versality.

Godwin IMO is better than average i think he is a very good squad player and when called upon can bring alot to the squad
i agree pie eaters i think in a better team which we have this coming season you,ll see the best of the likes of goodwin and also DV, moran and orr.

If they have British ancestors and are willing to play for free were sorted.

If you have class players who are playing with mediocre players then they will not play and look good becuase the players around them are not playing well.
thats not right. The sign of a good player is 1 who plays well with mediocre players. If you have a good team they make mediocre players look good like we used to do in the 90's.
