I’m still baffled by bateman’s first sun binning, the ref did him for taking the law into his own hands, well, someone had to as the red played on it was only looked at due to the scuffle that happened after it…..
100% correct. If there was no "incident" then the kick would have gone unnoticed.
The ref was awful.
The pass from (I think Marshall) was nowhere near forwards. He needs to go back to school and understand the concept of relative velocity.
On the other hand Saints had several genuine forward passes that were let slip.
Isa should have gone after his "double challenge" on the Saints player on the ground.

The average age of our starting pack yesterday was 22 and that was with Farrell pulling it up, that’s crazy to expect them to hold out saints older more experienced pack
How long did Bullock play last night?
When on, he did make good yards maybe thats why he was subbed off
First of all I am from York, but have been a Wigan fan all my life.
Last nights display was abysmal.
Adrian Lamb should be relieved of his duties immediately (good player not a good coach).
Sky hyped the derby up the players brought it down, not a good spectacle for Super League.
Neutrals expect more from Wigan and Saints matches, they expect tough skilful encounters,
regardless of the result.
I can only describe last nights efforts, like a sack of cats.
We have No grunt up front, we need 3 big props to bring the promising youngsters on, I expect you all know this, why can't Lamb see this.
Jackson Hastings, a one man army, with out him we would be on a par with Leigh.
John Bateman talked about it James Bentley did it !! (not pretty at times)
Jia who ???
Willi Isa the scratching cat, disgraceful .
This was inevitable after round one, why the powers that be have done nothing, search me.
What planet doe's Adrian Lamb live on, we will be alright, no we wont Adrian.
Play off's we can forget them for this year, concentrate on building for next year.
We might need three props but if they were here now Lam wouldn't play them anyway.
Our starting from row was aged 20,21,22. Average age 21.
Saints starting front row was aged 31,35,23. Average age 30..
If you anyone who knows anything about rugby which team was going to win a tight tough rugby match, one with a front row average age 21 or the other team with a front row average of 30. There's only one answer, the latter with age average of 30. So if all us speccies know that why don't Wigan's coaching team?
Lambs to the slaughter about sums it up. I’d like lam/lenegen/rads to pay me some compensation! We were that bad I had to consume enough alcohol to sink a ship. What I can remember was bad reffing, no go forward and the usual players in wrong positions. Surely as a Wigan fan IL can’t watch that kind of performance and think it’s good enough? Lam has to go and if he doesn’t it’s clear that IL doesn’t care about the club enough anymore and should hand over the reins to someone that does.
I don’t understand were IL is coming from either. He is continually putting money in the club because we are losing money every year yet he is putting up with a management and coaching team that is not delivering.
I would just like to know who is responsible for the recruitment and deciding which players to let go. Is it IL, KR or the coach. It’s been a mystery for years. Then we could at least know who to praise or criticise, instead we are all guessing who is responsible for what.
We have been going downhill for a couple of years now and IL must be aware of that. Is it because we don’t have the finances to recruit quality players, or is it the CEO or coach who are not targeting the right players?
It’s time for IL to be more open with the fans and respect opinions of the right people within the rugby circles. It’s time for a management and coaching shake up and stop giving jobs to ex players. IL is in danger of losing an awful lot of season tickets holders next season unless he acts now. Business men like IL are not growing on trees to buy rugby clubs, so IL can’t be in it for the money so like us all he is passionate about the team.
We have a great youth set up and training facilities. But what we need is a coach with a proven track record or at least someone who is showing potential to do the job. Also when we lose a quality player he is replaced with someone of similar quality, it’s not rocket science.. it’s too late for this season but if IL does not act now the demise will continue.
