it is whelans money that keeps the jjb open not the receipts from the 5000 that turned up at SaFORD

Rather than going back to the so-called good old days we should be moving forward. If it was affordable, I'd like a cardiff style lid put on the JJB!

I have supported both teams for over 30 years when 1500 were turning up at central park in the mid seventies and even less at springfield park in the old floodlight days. But i am a realist and neither teams have the fan base took keep a stadium like the jjb open.Both sets of fans should be grateful for a chance to see there team play at such a stadium

i heard about this when the ashes was on. they spoke about old trafford being a little old nowand that they were planing on building a new one in wigan.

no they got to the final of the carling cup and if united play in the champions league latics are in the uefa cup
