CCW, I think you need to read my messages properly. I never said we are THE big money earner at the JJB, I said that we bring in a decent amount of money, particularly when you compare the cost of running WRLFC to the other lot. Ticket sales cover our salary cap, I doubt the same can be said for soccer. We operate at a profit, and that's got to be a pleasing thing for any owner. I don't really care how much money the latics make, their sport doesn't interest me and it's irrelevant to profits of the rugby team.

It seems a lot of people here don't want a balnced and reasonable debate about this. Maybe the cricket ground suggestion was a non-starter but this thread has revealed a mix of opinions about the groundhare (as well as some downright lies about the two clubs' relative attendances).

It's not that, it's just that this is a Wigan warriors board...if we wanted to discuss Latics we'd go on one of their boards.
Apart from affecting the state of the pitch, Latics' use of the JJB, or their attendances, have no relevance to us.
