I don’t think Brad will be in the 17 I suspect we will go with shorrocks on the bench to cover 9 if neededCharriots Offiah wrote: ↑Wed Sep 14, 2022 7:52 pm I think both Brad and Sam will be in the 17. After his period on the sidelines it would be too much to ask Powell to play 80 minutes, the same applies to Tommy. I can see all three interchanging at some point with experience looking to close out the game. I go for Brad to start against O’Connor.

Re: POWELL!!
Assuming Singleton and Byrne are starting props, I can see Mago, Ellis, Havard and Cooper as subs, which is a strong bench. If that's the case and we have a problem at halves/hooker then we have all change - Field to halves, Bevan to full back, Bibby to wing (I'm assuming he starts at centre) and Isa (again assuming a starting second row) to centre. Lots of assumptions about starting line-up there!!!Wigan_forever1985 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 14, 2022 8:13 pmI don’t think Brad will be in the 17 I suspect we will go with shorrocks on the bench to cover 9 if neededCharriots Offiah wrote: ↑Wed Sep 14, 2022 7:52 pm I think both Brad and Sam will be in the 17. Re: POWELL!!
I’d be happy with that, just think it’s not right dropping O’Neil completely out the squad because Sam is backCharriots Offiah wrote: ↑Wed Sep 14, 2022 7:52 pm I think both Brad and Sam will be in the 17. I think it’s incredibly unlikely he will put both in the squad - I think like was said previously he will go with 4 forwards on the bench except I expect 1 of them to be shorrocks to give the option of covering multiple positionsBarney841 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 14, 2022 8:53 pmI’d be happy with that, just think it’s not right dropping O’Neil completely out the squad because Sam is backCharriots Offiah wrote: ↑Wed Sep 14, 2022 7:52 pm I think both Brad and Sam will be in the 17. I really hope he doesn’t put shorrocks on the bench. Waste of a spot in my opinion. If Powell is to come back in O’Neil deserves a bench spot, he can also cover loose as well.

Re: POWELL!!
Just as Sam can cover standoff - makes sense having both Powell and O’Neill in the squad especially with Tommy also just back from injury

Re: POWELL!!
Id be very suprised as i say Peet has shown that he likes Shorrocks utility value someone who can cover directly 11/12/13/9 - that also would allow for variation in the backline should tommy or sam pull up shorrocks could come in at 9.
I might be wrong but 99% of time if Sam is in the team he is considered a 80min player so Peet wont see the need to directly cover 9

We look so slow from the ruck where he plays there
