Walter’s looks what he is a few weeks behind everyone else no surprise given his injury he’s going to be a handful for sure as for Nsemba how long before the scouts come from the NRL?Wintergreen wrote: ↑Sat Jun 01, 2024 8:29 pmAgreed he is continuing to improve. Having said that if Walters can pack some more KG on he will be virtually unplayable. He's got the frame to be immense.M6 Warrior wrote: ↑Sat Jun 01, 2024 8:18 pmAgreed, let’s move on. One final thought after today. Someone needs to get in Junior’s ear and tell him that his future is at Wigan and not in the NRL. He will be a massive loss to us and the Super League if he goes when they come knocking very loudly at the door…which could be very soon if recent history is anything to go byCharriots Offiah wrote: ↑Sat Jun 01, 2024 7:31 pm In simplistic terms, we didn’t play well but we got two points. Let’s move onto next week.![]()

French isn’t a half. He’s a fullback. Also couldn’t tackle a hot dinner. I like him but I think he’s been quite below par most games this season. Hampshire should be playing at rose bridge. Not the best performance we should have kicked on second half and battered them. Let’s hope the silly decisions don’t cost us too much next week.

Must admit I missed the Dupree headbutt I suspect though the beak won't and the lad will be missing for a few games.

Was French the skipper? Anyway, I thought he stood up well, on both sides of the ball today. I don't share the heart-ache: Wire rested a few more than we did, but I thought Eckersley and Douglas did just fine, our failings were mostly from players with enough SL experience to know better. I don't think Keighran is a malicious player at all, but we've seen it before from him; poor technique and high shots. Played himself out of a Wembley spot; I'll bet he's feeling pretty sick.

That’s what I thought!
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

It was a double high tackle from Drinkwater & Holroyd & as I’ve said before our players, unless it is serious, get up after a heavy tackle. Perhaps we should start play acting like other players do!!Charriots Offiah wrote: ↑Sat Jun 01, 2024 11:14 pmThey also missed the high tackle on Keighran which Ellis and Walters got banned for similar tackles.

I don’t either but Lindop should have gone off for a HIA IMOmoto748 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2024 1:42 am Was French the skipper? Anyway, I thought he stood up well, on both sides of the ball today.
