Is Cooper looking at a ban after the sin bin .Maybe Cullan lets Dufty off and gives Cooper a three match ban just to even things

If they give him a ban that would just compound the stupidity of the original decision. It would be borderline corrupt in my opinion as they would only be doing it to back up Moore's incorrect decision and not make him look stupid when in fact the person who should be facing a sanction is Moore, not Cooper as in Moore ought to be looking at a demotion to a lower league for a week.

Not as much as wire did though. So no, it doesn't! :D

BTW, I thought Peet wouldn't play Walters and would go with three props on the bench. He's a very conservative match day coach. Maybe this was a solid tactical decision, but I suggest it was a risk reduction decision. As he said after the match his main match day motivation is fear, which I think he needs to change a bit. It causes mistakes like selecting players but not brining them on and being overly conservative with team selection IMO. It obviously not affecting us much, but I think we could improve slightly in this regard and pro sports organizations and individuals should always look to improve.

On Bevan’s disallowed try, Kendall puts it up as ‘no try’ & asks Moore was it a "loose ball carry?"

I thought that, that, was what the VR was supposed to look for? Bevan’s fingers never left the ball & IMO, he was pushed over by the Warrington players.

Because the VR couldn’t say that Bevan’s fingers left the ball, which they didn’t, Moore then decides to look at something else "is it a double movement?”

I thought the VR isn’t supposed to look at an alternative to to disallow a try because he couldn’t find a cause from the original question?

Is that right or can the VR pick & choose what he wants to look at to disallow a try?

Thank you for any replies.

As an aside, I had a bet on French to win MOM but I also put a bet on, & I never bet on an opposition player, I put a bet on French & Dufty both to score a try 😁

At the end of last season & the win at Old Trafford I put a bet on Wigan to win the CC 🙂 I don’t put big amounts on in my bets usually a fiver is the most usually it’s £2. Anyway when I got back to the & checked my bets, I won £196 😁
At the game I couldn't understand the number of replays the VR did but a good few were related to how the game should be restarted after the no try decision ie was it a double movement (yes) and a penalty to Wire or a knock on before the line and handover on the 10 or knock on over the line and a restart on the 25?

In conclusion, congrats and can I borrow a fiver? 8-)

Just watched the game back and after having previously slagged off the BBC, which is more often than not deserved, I thought that their coverage of the cup final was excellent.
Great build up and interviews. No obvious bias this time, even from Wilkin.
I do think we benefitted from the game being played when no football was on, so they could dedicate the coverage to the game and after match celebrations.
Perhaps this is something the RFL and IMG need to make sure with the timing of the cup final in the future.
