Wigan squad for Warrington (R19)

Not sure MP is the Messiah. As has been alluded to already I think certain players (mentioning no names, but we all know who they are) have carried us . I know MP is a lovely chap but I’m not sure he is suited to the cut and thrust of coaching at the highest level. As EEP has said, why the heck does Smith kick on every last ptb , so predictable. Even an idiot like me can see we need to mix it up a bit.
Why we would play with 4 props on the bench when we have a young lad in the halves and the possibility of an injury to a back is beyond me. In a close game it may pay off but if you are up against it attack wise as we were tonight it gives us no options to try something different.
Also, if anyone is in doubt about Byrne’s suitability as a Wigan player I hope tonight’s effort has convinced you he just hasn’t got the temperament to make it as a starting prop (although not many convinced tonight but they at least have credit in the bank).
I think we should also be looking at a new right sided winger as I think Miski for all of his endeavours lacks the pace to worry the opposition ( not just because he had a stinker tonight ). We

I don’t think MP is by any means a bad coach but I feel that some of his decisions are questionable ie. not using players he has picked on the bench; having 4 props on the bench; picking players and not trusting them to do a job. As alluded to in my post I think we have done so well because of Bev and Jai (which I appreciate any team would struggle with such key players missing). A great coach will find a way to win even if key players are missing.
MP is still a relatively inexperienced coach and may well go on to greatness though I feel he’s a way of that yet. I’m prepared to eat my words.
It would be a very boring forum if we all subscribed to group think.

No doubt that was an embarrassing match. Especially for me being born in Warrington (I didn't ask to be, and had to go to school with Wire and Leigh fans including when we were relegated!).
BUT... last year we conceded 40 to a 12 man Leeds team, and we currently hold every trophy available to us. All I know is the game is played by humans , not robots, and Rugby League is a unique game in the way that it punishes any weakness and exploits it ruthlessly, unlike say football, where a poor United team can go to Anfield and get a scoreless draw.
So let's learn from the last couple of weeks, take any necessary difficult decisions, but don't panic...
