this will probably cheese some off

i'm a non season ticket holder (used to have one) but logged onto ticketmaster yesterday, ordered 4 south stand tickets no problems at all, and i could probably have done it before 5.30 which seemed to be the ST renewal time but waited until after to purchase

not a lot of South Stand tickets left when i logged on, so would expect the stand sold out signs at some point today

EDIT : looks like unsold season tickets have been released, so the South looks like quite a few tickets now available

The ticket statement from the club was probably badly worded . General sale of tickets (excluding season ticket seats) has been open since Thursday night after the match. I know people who are not season ticket holders who bought seats last Thursday . Once again communications from the club pretty poor

Just wondering if anyone can help- I have just bought my tickets for the semi through my WW ticket account. I have the confirmation email but there is nothing attached- is this an error or will the tickets be sent at a later date or am I to use my season ticket plastic pass for entrance at the turnstile? Can anyone who doesn't have a season ticket but have bought tickets for the semi confirm if they have had a pdf with their ticket confirmation?

The whole process of buying has been an absolute disgrace from my perspective. I have two season tickets- one for me and one for my son (under 18) both linked to my email account. The club haven't linked the two accounts on their system (despite requesting this earlier in the season when I had another challenge trying to buy some tickets and having to call the ticket office). When I logged on to try to buy semi tickets, it logs me on as my son and would only allow me to buy his ticket / seat. Having tried to call the ticket office four times yesterday and to be told I was '28th in the queue' each and every time, I gave up on basis of buying today online. The ticket system was then down this morning when I tried again and wasn't showing any tickets available to buy. Finally it now works, but I was apparently timed out of buying the tickets whilst the payment was processing but have a confirmation email (with no attachments) and the money has been drawn against my bank account. I am that peeved with the process that I am writing to the club to request my 2 x £5 discount on the full price I have had to pay to buy 2 tickets as their system is not fit for purpose. God knows what will happen if I try to get tickets for the Grand Final if we get there.

buy from the RFL but from memory they still use ticket master, but you will find lots of fans buy from the RFL as you can get them before the club(s) put them on sale usually the day after the semi

I did exactly the same, nothing attached, normally get an eticket from Ticketmaster, early in the season they were mailed out. I'll give it a few days and see if anything turns up in post, otherwise it's emailing ticket offer again for advice!!!

I went down to the ticket office just now. not the big queue I expected, only two in front of me, but only one till in operation. So I was told, we can post, or you can pick up, or we can email. So I said, email is fine, but they said in any case, tickets are not being sent out until next week.. So don't worry, endoman and the_cow

One thing i didn't understand is that I approached the stadium in what I thought was the 'correct' way, turning into Stadium Way from the traffic lights on Scot Lane. But as I approached the stadium, there was three jobsworths there in a car in hi-vis, blocking the access to the stadium and the parking spaces by the ticket office. So I bore left and parked on the bridge (not on double yellow). As I walked past, one of the men shouted, Oi, how long are you going to be parked there, mate? I shouted back, as long as it takes me to buy a ticket, mate! I've never seen the road closed there before in a all the many times I've driven to the ticket office in the past.

Latics are at home tonight. I've seen it previously for both clubs as i run regularly round the car park and along the East / Boston stand, where the stewards are there well before kick off and wont let anyone other than catering etc into the stadium

Thanks pieman. that makes sense (sort of). Although I imagine the number of fans would attempt to sneak into the stadium hours early would be pretty small!
