I think both are well past their prime.shawxshark wrote: ↑Mon Mar 17, 2025 3:34 pm I’d take Tim lafai first, he could cover centre and wing options
Don’t know why everyone raves about macdonald, and I don’t think his attitude would fit in with Wigan

Re: Brierly
I'd test waters on bringing pryce in on loan with option to permanent transfer next year not getting game time down under

I'm sure I read that Tim Lafai's going back to Australia due to a fractured eye socket. Nene's a good player with a bit of history behind him, obviously suited to the English game he would potentially be a decent pick-up for whoever gets himCharriots Offiah wrote: ↑Mon Mar 17, 2025 7:37 pmI think both are well past their prime.shawxshark wrote: ↑Mon Mar 17, 2025 3:34 pm I’d take Tim lafai first, he could cover centre and wing options

Leigh don’t want Nene MacDonald back why should we? Doesn’t say much when he helped Leigh get promotion.buttmonkey2 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 18, 2025 12:39 amI'm sure I read that Tim Lafai's going back to Australia due to a fractured eye socket. Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Good shout that, he must be on move now or looking elsewhere, knights have just signed brown from next year for halfback, with cogger and that young lad fletcher ahead of him, and ponga at fullback, I think he might be open to it?

You did although he was at Salford’s match at the weekend.buttmonkey2 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 18, 2025 12:39 amI'm sure I read that Tim Lafai's going back to Australia due to a fractured eye socket. Re: Brierly
Is this deal still alive or was it just a rumour? Seeing others leaving but no mention of Brierly to Wigan
Re: Brierly
Would be a good fit now it’s been confirmed Jai is out for a lengthy spell.
Eckersley in for AK at centre
Brierly at full back
Bevan stays in the halves.
If Miski is still out, Douglas can slot straight in at wing.
Nobody playing out of position.
Make it happen Rads.!!

They're only getting the results on Field this evening, so there's been no confirmation of timescales yet as far as I've seen. I think we can presume he's going to miss at least a month or more though. Not sure where the days of players getting hamstring strains and being ruled out for 2-3 weeks went tbh. Every hamstring we get now seems to be a shocker, with players missing 2-3 months or more.
