He berats Dennis Moran for intercepts. Every pass he throws is intercepted.

Binder OUT
Bet it wouldn't have a chance of being intercepted if it was a pint you were throwing to him

Not that I like to criticise players. But O'Loughlin has been terrible this season.

Everyone seems to have got on the band-wagon of blaming Denis Moran for everything, and although I must agree he turned out to be a very disappointing signing, I believe that he showed as much as Lockers has this season.

As for him being captain - don't make me laugh. Behind the sticks on Saturday - the only people opening their mouths were Higham and Orr. O'loughlin wasn't bothered (head down). Now I agree that captains don't have to be shouting all the time - but some of the time would be nice!!!

I would give Orr the captaincy NOW and drop Lockers.

If you're saying that Orr has been playing better than Lockers, you need new medication.

I don't know about Orr as captain but it is very clear that Lock is no captain and is having a very bad season, for me time to get shut of him at the end of the season.

You have had me fooled WW!! Fooled into thinking you knew what you were on about!! Get rid of Lockers? Don't worry, if we continue in this vein we will get plenty of enquiries for him. :(
The mistake you are making is to look at errors he makes - and there are some - rather than look at the fact that he covers every blade of grass for the full 80 every week whilst being captain of the worst Wigan team in living memory having just come back from a 14 month layoff.
Stats don't prove everything but I would bet Lockers is near the top of the tackle count and has more assists to his name than any other player in the squad.
Compare him to other players. Feca doesn't make the mistakes Lockers does because, a) He only plays 20 minutes, b) He is not often there to make the mistake (see the Saints knock on), c) He doesn't kick.
Compare him to Dallas (everyone's favourite). Dallas never gets criticised, probably because he doesn't drop the ball, but tell me what else he does? He isn't at all threatening any more but because he drives the ball in 4 times in a game he is hailed as a hero. He doesn't kick, so again he can't get that wrong either.

Sorry I have to criticise Dallas to make my point, but that is what it takes on here, unfortunately. :conf:

I think its time people started to see, that Lockers isnt up to it.

the Captain should be there at the front, leading the attack, not the one messing it up.

he cant handle being captain i think that is plain to see, and i think a lot of others deep down know this too

Lockers the player is quality IMO.

The captaincy is a fair debate.

Anybody rating Orr over Lockers needs their head testing

A lot of people don't think he's captain material and i think it shows on the field. What i can't fathom out is why nobby has let it keep going on or is it the last thing thing he's going to sort out

As I say the captaincy is a fair debate. He's young and it is a difficult transition period to be burdened with such responsibility
