Re: Attendance for GB game
Well same as Faa'fili wouldn't have played for NZ, but i still would rather anyone other than Gardner there.

Re: Attendance for GB game
i think the reason it was played at saints was so that it would look like a good crowd on tv instead of a small crowd making a big stadium look empty

Fair cop and well spotted flash...what I should have said was squad and not xvii.Flash posted:I understand your sentiments here but Saints/Wigan? Are you being serious? There was one player from Wigan (who was on the bench!) unless you count Fielden who was a Bradford player at the time the squad was picked! Leeds had 4 and your own team (y'know the one you are claiming hadn't any representation!) had one plus your brand new, high profile signing for next year.primrose-n-blue posted:

PNB it's ill informed and Wire biased posts like this that are the reason you aren't taken seriously on this board. Take off your Primrose and Blue tinted glasses!![]()

I hold my hands up. :redf:
...although I don't except the bias jibe....I would have sooner seen Litler than Gleeson in the GB+I team and others like Cooke and Briers.
Re: Attendance for GB game
Should have played it at the Halliwell Jones, it's a medium sized stadium that looks far better on TV than the shed over in chav central.sudokuwarrior posted:

Re: Attendance for GB game
All the Warrington fans I spoke to over the test said they wouldn't go to the game because it was so selected in favour of the Saints.
It would have only been half-full if played at the HJ.

Poor attendance or not? It was still two thousand more than the table toppers managed last weekend!
