WORST REF THIS YEAR!!!!!

Trailing to Widnes on a Sunday morning for an earful of abuse from wound up parents had me handing in my whistle!! I feel sympathy for the guy in the middle but still feel there are certain 'weak' refs who are not up to the required level. Bring back Russell Smith!!

I think he's been up and down between SL and NL1 quite a few times. It shows Cummings does do something to address poor performances.

...because you can't demote every referee, for obvious reasons. They all have bad games but the likes of Ganson and Kirkpatrick have more good than bad. They are the best we have. They are also much more experienced than the referees in the National Leagues who will come through in due course.

Karl Kirkpatrick against Cas cost us the game. A few days later he was at a funeral. Had been any other occasion I would have had to have given him my regards and that of all of of wigan.

Personally I would say Kirkpatrick is the worst ref I’ve seen for a good while.

If they would just make a few stupid decisions like Ashley Clown and Dick Slitherslug and abuse their positions to effect results that might favour their home town team for a change then we might just win a few things!!! :sly: :snea1:
