We need an out and out goal-kicker, not someone who is fairly good, or could learn to be adequate.

Conversions and penalties are all important, and can mean the difference between winning and losing.

This must be one of Nobby's priorities, and I'm sure he's got it covered.

Footballers spend 90 minutes pretending they're injured. Rugby League players spend 80 minutes pretending they're not.

True, but by the same token, it needs to be someone who justifies his selection in whatever position we need, not just a goal kicker who can be fitted in somewhere (otherwise we'd end up with the equivalent of Paul Deacon).
