Pongia quits
Re: Pongia tributes
I would liked to have seen him at Wigan in his prime as well! He's been a good signing, Lets hope they get him on the pitch on Sunday so he can get a proper send off.

A damm shame , maybe he should get a testimonial ? i think his experience was an asset to us a coaching role may help the younger players develop. Good luck for anythin you do Q

good luck to the lad has served us well!
Re: Pongia tributes
Didnt really think about it before but I think we'll miss him, he's what we needed to get the team started, with his big powerful runs and he hasn't let us down.
Shame he had to go out the game like that though. Now we have to win the grand final for him!

Re: Pongia quits
Last season, our defence went from 4th or 5th best when we signed him, to the meanest in the league. We wouldn't have made the GF without him. The memory i'll keep will be his chip to the in goal area for Carney at the stains.
Thanks and good luck Quentin.
