The whole thing is ridiculous if you ask me.

In my opinion you should have to play for the country you were either born in or have spent the majority of your life and playing days in. If you are born in NZ you play for NZ unless you have been living in Aus since you were 2 or something. That way there's no complications. Same goes for GB.

I don't agree with Fein playing for NZ but if they want to get into the whole thing then they have to again look at players like Karmichael Hunt and Willie Mason who hold NZ passports, were born there and have played junior reps for them. How can Hunt have played for both the junior Kiwis and junior Roos? If the Kiwis are docked points then i hope they do walk out on the competition because the whole tri-nations has been seen as a massive joke over here by the Aussies anyway.

Sorry for the rant but it really gets on my nerves that the Aussies can be so hypocritical. All the confusion and drama just gives the game a bad name.

Anyway i'm heading out to the game on the weekend so should be good. Hope you guys can give them a real run for their money, or even better just run over the top of them
We'll miss you Freshy!!! Please come back!

if they got the points deducted then we would only get slagged off for the rest of the series
Why should we get slagged off? It wasn't GB thatfielded the ineligible player.

By the way the Kiwi's have now said they won't walk out on the competition and will accept the ruling whatever it is putting down the threat to walk out to an over-emotional reaction to the possibility of a points deduction.

Therefore dock 'em two points for the ineligible player and another two for bringing the game into disrepute for threatening to walk out
