always the politition (spelling) i for one have never believed the rumors about the golden ticket that wigan will get if we were to get relegated.

as welan says if we go down we deserve to go down.

good hard fought out win tonight though.

lockers was non existant as the captain as ususal.
lets not get too carried away. frankly the catalans were dour tonight. however, a win is a win and it was a very much needed one too

Well we did well to win despite Richards blunders twice!

Who told you that rubbish? He tackled his heart out tonight and carried the ball well going forward. Whilst he may not be the most vocal of captains, as has been discussed many times before, he certainly leads by example.

Yeah for once i agree with Rob in the last few games he has been poor and despite one penalty early on for a high tackle, Lockers was good.

I also think he had one of his better games.

He didn't let anyone down tonight.
Footballers spend 90 minutes pretending they're injured. Rugby League players spend 80 minutes pretending they're not.

I don't think he has been poor in the last few games.

He has given away a few too many penalties and made a few too many errors this season but overall his hard work has out weighed his frailties. I wish the rest of the team would tackle as solidly as him and try as hard with ball in hand. You cannot fault his commitment.

And has been said often enough "leading by example" is an apology from him not saying a dicky bird on the pitch.

He certainly did set an example tonight but it would be better if he ralied the troops as well. It isn't too much to ask from a captain.

He is playing as a player, not a captain.
