Re: Navarrete
<t>Depth is good, but when we have glaring weaknesses at centre and hooker presumably going unaddressed it seems very odd to me.<br/> <br/> Once again we have signed a player halfway between a prop and a second rower to add to the existing collection.<br/> <br/> Our boring style of play looks likely...

Re: Forum
I would like to add my thanks to Mike.
I ran a small trade union site a few years ago, and I remember how it seemed to suck up all my spare time trying to keep it up to date and interesting. You deserve a rest.

Re: Tomkins talks experience, expectations... and hits back at critics
Reads like a classical ghost written article to me.
I doubt the reporter even spoke to him, never mind a proper interview.
Sam strikes me as a guy who tells it like it is - no bullshit. It doesn't show through in this article.

Re: Tomkins
<t>CPW, I recall Ellery finishing a long second in a joust with Robin Whitfield at Bradford one time. A red card during the half time interval and Wigan lost by one point.Hardly the master at work in terms of ref management?<br/> <br/> Seriously, unless you can lipread, how can you dismiss Sam's eff...

<t>Declining standards of play and entertainment value, and falling crowd figures ought to put the writing on the wall.<br/> <br/> More significant than CPW's 3 year shelf life theory I think, is the length of time between Shaun Wane's playing and (head)coaching careers. His last game for Wigan as a...

Re: Tomkins
<t>I think some of the comments on this thread are unnecessarily pessimistic. Certainly Sam has not recovered his former dash, but we know the reason for that, and I see no reason why he can't fully recover for next year.<br/> <br/> This season he has shown flashes of greatness with his passing and ...

<t>I agree there doesn't need to be all this hysteria over what ought to be a reasonable debate over whether last night's performance is the cup half full or half empty.<br/> <br/> Personally, I was encouraged by the effort and intensity on display. It appears that everybody is committed to the caus...

Re: Fan Survey
<t>Last time I took part in a survey like this was sometime in the 1990's, can't remember exactly.<br/> <br/> Anyway the central question was what day fans would like home games to be played? There was a clear majority in favour of Sunday afternoons, so the club thanked everybody and announced that ...
