Re: Sam out of Test series
<t>Vibes are that Sam will be fit for the start of 2016 season. <br/> I also think Sarge will too, just hoping he's not used as much as a prop forward next season as he was last. <br/> It took a lot out of him and he lost a lot of his attacking flair due to his hit ups early almost set of six.<br/> ...

Re: Hampshire
<t>Smith got flogged last season.<br/> Main playmaker, look after a young no.6, do the field kicking, do the goal kicking, playing 80 mins in each match and missed perhaps one game.<br/> If he's flogged the same 2016 then come 2017 burn out is a distincy possibility. No wonder his form varied.<br/> ...

<t>Never ever understood the need for austerity at all.<br/> <br/> The Gov't had to cut back their spending and/or increase revenue to balance the deficit and start reducing the countries debt.<br/> <br/> They could have withdrawn welfare for Non EU migrants for a period of 5 years.<br/> That would ...

Re: Best British Rugby League Player of all time
I agree, Billy.
I saw him play wing, centre, full back and stand off.
In 1959 (I think) in the Saints match when Murphy and Sullivan were sent off by Eric Clay, Billy went to stand off and won the game from there for us.

Re: McNamara in no rush to commit his future to England
England have a lot of quality players and nowhere near fulfil their potential.
Imagine how good they could be if they had a coach like Bennett or Bellamy or Robinson in charge.
McNamara should go.
His record at club level was awful and at International level even worse.

Re: Tyler Cornish
No thanks!
We have four half backs in the first team squad now, then Shorrocks who's just been promoted.
We don't need another.

Re: Tomkins to profit from an overdue pre-season
<t>A right sided attack of Gelling, Joel and Manfredi would be devastating for any opposition. We had a small insight last season as to what they are ccapable of.<br/> They are pretty good as a defensive unit too with all three being able to tackle as well as defend.<br/> <br/> I hope they benefit f...

<t>I've thought for a while that there is a difference of opinion between IL and Rads compared to Waney.<br/> SW will not play Hampshire at half back if he can possibly avoid it. There is no half back place in Waney's squad for Ryan.<br/> <br/> On the other hand IL and Rads have a contract with the ...

Re: Bateman Extends Contract
England is short of left sided centres as both Watkins and Cudjoe play left. Probably the best playing Bateman there.
Let's see how they go next Sunday and take it from there.
