Spoke to Bateman in Manchester Airport before the world cup, one of the nicest down-to-earth people I've ever met. Shook my hand and asked me how my day was, about the tournament etc.
I work there and the attitude from rugby players compared to football players is astonishing.

Dom Manfredi retiring?
Heard a rumour that his injury has forced him to retire early.
Hope it's not true, don't know if my source is reliable or not. Gutted if he's retired, best upcoming winger in the League.

If he scores tries like this on a regular basis, he'll be a fan favourite. Look at that step!

Re: FPN
<t>I think FPN has been great so far, definitely better starting than being a sub. Runs hard, takes three players to tackle him and always lands on his front. He's also a very good tackler.<br/> If I remember correctly, he only missed one tackle against Hull and it was Shaul (who was on fire on that...

Re: Konrad Hurrell
<t>I'm all for giving the youngsters a chance, but we really do need a few class signings. My stepdad has spoken to Wane in person after his son got signed on a Scholarship and he said he imagines a future team full of players who have been brought up from the Wigan setup. Although this is a noble g...

Re: Did Matty Bowen play well?
<r>If it helps, I'd like to say that it's only my <B><s></s>opinion<e></e></B> that he was the best player. Every time he took the ball forward he looked dangerous. I've only been watching Rugby for 3 years, so I don't notice the little things others do. I didn't notice any faults with Bowens...
