The tune is the sash my father wore. The Orange anthem. Not sure I would sing anything to this tune myself. It's up there with when the Saints go Marching in and Never Walk Alone for me. Tribalism sung by numptys

<r>We are an extremely mediocre team burdened with a fantastic history. We are in danger of being the new Huddersfield, years in the wilderness having once been great. Our forwards are not good enough and we lack strike players in the second row and centres. We have not adjusted to the Summer era and...

We beat a great Wire side with a wonder DG and an Edwards try. But it was the goal that broke Warrington hearts and spirit. I always felt that if we had lost that Warrington would have gone on to greater things. I wonder if Joe is available for the 9th Feb!

I remember a "Wigan fan" once say at Central Park what good is that Hanley! All he can do is score tries. - it takes all sorts!

Re: lancs vs yorkshire
I remember the first war of the roses game at Leeds.
I got the coach from Central Park. The driver was a Saints troll who told us that he supported the greatest team in the world, Sent Ellins, and then tried to drop us off at Elland Road as he didn't know where Headingley was!

Re: Nobles Reaction!
when Hanley was captain 9 out of 10 times we would go for goal and get the ball back. Thats called building pressure and it's what we need to continue to do. It's better getting two points and the chance of more than losing the ball first tackle going for six!

Re: Rule changes
I think it is a disgrace for Wiganers to have a pop at each others educational standards. We are all from the same gene pool - HAVING SAID THAT LATICS FANS ONLY WENT IN UP TO THEIR ANKLES!

Re: We will stay up
I think if you research the history books Saints were also saved from the drop by a rule change. A fact erased from most Saints speccies memories.
